Unlocking Potential, One Student at a Time
Are you looking for expert support in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or specialised Dyslexia tutoring? With over 25 years of teaching experience, I am here to help. As a seasoned SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to empower students and their families.
A few words from families we’ve worked with.
“When working with Clare, I saw firsthand her commitment to ensure that every student, regardless of their needs, receives the support and guidance they need. She has a remarkable depth of knowledge of SEN and the practical strategies to support staff and children. She's also been incredibly supportive throughout my own families' journey into the world of SEN. She has an amazing ability to bring calm and clarity to what can often feel like an overwhelming battle through paperwork, referrals and appointments. But most of all she cares. She genuinely cares about each and every child. Clare is passionate about giving each child and their family a voice and works tirelessly to make sure they are heard and supported.”

“Clare has done an astounding job supporting Alicia.
Alicia has struggled with reading and writing for a long time and this started to affect her willingness to attend school.
Since Clare has been supporting her she is eager to attend school, especially on the days Clare is there to work with her. Alicia has come a long way with her confidence and even asks for new books to read while at home, this has never happened before so I am really pleased. I really appreciate Clare’s time and effort that she has put in with Alicia, I can’t thank her enough”

Clare has been a fantastic find for our son (age 7) and our family as well. He had another dyslexia tutor before Clare, and although she was very nice, Clare's support has been a different level, bringing her wide knowledge of both dyslexia and Special Educational Needs to her approach. The sessions have given us a lot of reassurance as, with Clare, I feel as though it is not just us, on our own, finding our way through how to support him. It has also given us the confidence as to when and how to push back to school - for instance, we were unsure about the spellings he was asked to learn for school, Clare gave us advice and we then had the confidence to politely push back to the teacher about which spellings were best for him. Our son really enjoys the sessions, always has fun and feels very supported.

I sought advice from Clare as my daughter was struggling in school and I needed more information to work out why. Clare conducted some educational testing which gave me a concise report showing which specific areas of learning she was struggling with. Clare talked me through the results and offered recommendations which gave me the confidence to request further support from school. Clare has such a lovely manner and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed partaking in the tests. Clare’s knowledge and experience was exactly what we needed to move forward and I’m so happy we found her.
Thanks
